Wow, you're still here!

I don't like to talk, nor do I like to listen, but I can't control my ears. Even if I cover my ears, I can still hear everyone making noise. So, I can only listen, but everyone says I don't listen.

The yard is the only welfare institution in the town, and the people in the yard all seem burdened with heavy thoughts. The children cry easily, and the adults often comfort them loudly. They say loudly, "Don't cry, don't cry, mom and dad have already left, don't look for them." I find it strange, why use a loud voice to comfort. Maybe it's to let all the children in the yard hear it? Then why not call everyone over to say it together to them?

I don't know, this sentence sounds very sad, but very true. So I call it words of comfort.

Usually when I wake up, everyone else is still sleeping. I don't know why, every time I wake up, my head feels very heavy, incredibly heavy. By the time I wake up again, it's already been a while... Adults say I'm a bad kid because I always lie in bed, but I really don't do it on purpose. I only realized when I grew up that not eating breakfast makes a person very weak. But I'm already weak enough, can't get any weaker. Thinking about it carefully, it's even a bit cost-effective~

I like to read, the books in the welfare institution are probably the most interesting thing there. The director would teach us to read together every Thursday, which is also the most hated time of the week for everyone. The director is strict, but very serious. At least that's what I think, everyone likes to play some games during the reading class, like judge, thief, police, etc. If you draw the corresponding role, you have to play that role. Of course, it has to be done secretly, or else the director will scold you. The director's scolding is the most serious expression I've ever seen, she stares at the child who made a mistake, eyebrows furrowed, mouth twisted, gently rolling...

The welfare institution is also called an orphanage, that's what I heard from Ado. Ado said that the people in the orphanage are all lonely, and I couldn't agree more, because Ado is my only friend, also my sister. It doesn't matter, anyway, she's my friend. I will always help her when she's in trouble.

Of course, by the time I met Ado, I had already left the welfare institution.

Leaving the welfare institution was a big event in my life, I almost died because of it...

The day I left, the weather was bad, it was a day with a reading class, so it should have been Thursday. This is what I deduced later when Ado asked me. The reading class on that Thursday was boring, in fact, all the reading classes that month were boring. I had read all the books in the welfare institution, if no one had secretly hidden the books.

What have I read? "Sheepskin Ball," "Complete Works of Maupassant," "Sherlock Holmes," "The Hunt for Red October," and "The Border Town," and so on. Too many, I read desperately, hoping that one day I could return to the world and start a revolution, punishing all the orphans who make noise in the morning and at night. So the director's reading class became dull, she taught us words that I had already understood in the books.

So, there was nothing interesting left, so I had to leave. Ji Xianlin said this is called being free-spirited. I also think this is being free-spirited, I wonder why wine and taking off clothes are put together, is it saying that everyone should drink first and then undress? Wow, just thinking about it is stimulating.

When I was about to leave, I reported to the director that I needed to go to the bathroom. After using the bathroom, I walked straight out of the main gate. The guard asked me what I was doing, I said I needed to go to the bathroom, he just said "oh" and continued to doze off, and that's how I left the yard.
