Days of being forced to idle (1)

I thought that when I really had free time, I could focus on writing or doing things I didn't have time to do before. The reality proved me wrong. During this period, I had no intention of sitting down to write at all. I was annoyed by my mom's constant nagging, so I just kept playing games and doing things that weren't very productive. Is this a forced idle stress response?

Recently, I renovated the navigation site again and learned a lot of new front-end knowledge. I must learn JavaScript well. Then I will write an awesome Typecho theme! (Or maybe I should think about it first)

One of the things that bothers me at home is the issue of slow mobile internet speed. I've tested the speed many times, and the download speed never exceeds 2Mbps. In a fit of anger, I called 10010 customer service, reset the network, but it's still the same.

I inexplicably thought of a conspiracy theory. Did China Unicom limit 4G speed to promote 5G? I filed a complaint with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Today, after a few calls, I thought the internet speed would finally improve. When I tested it outside, the speed was 20Mbps!

Confused

Feeling happy, who knew that when I got home and tested the speed again, it dropped to 1Mbps. When I stepped out of the room, the speed went back to 20Mbps. I finally understood where the problem was, the difference in my indoor and outdoor internet speed is 20 times!!

It seems there is no conspiracy theory after all. It's possible that there are too many iron wires in the bedroom walls, turning my room into a Faraday cage? After watching a few videos, I plan to try DIY a mobile signal booster tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I'll find an abandoned satellite dish to put in the room~
